~How to store
your rubber stamps~
Tips and tricks for
rubber stamping!
You can keep your stamps randomly strewn about your house, but here are some tips for keeping them organized and making them last longer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. Keep them away from the elements. This will help the rubber last much longer. 2. Put up some cheap shelves and put them in small plastic containers by category. Label the container and you can find your stamps quickly. 3. If you don't have a room for stamping, try buying one of those plastic towers full of drawers that are on wheels. That way you can just wheel them away when you are done. Those under the bed containers can work too. 4. Plastic baggies are great for little odds and ends that you might want to keep. Ribbon, wire etc. 5. Old film canisters work great for buttons, or glitter, or embossing powder. 6. Filing folders are a great way to organize your paper. Have a folder for every color and you are set! 7. On my desk I have a few old mugs to store the pens and scissors I use the most. Quick and easy to grab. 8. Try keeping your embossing powders in salt and pepper shakers! Easy to control without it all dumping out. 9. Try a tackle box! Cheap and easy way to organize and store all your things! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
