~Starting supplies for stamping~
Tips and tricks for rubber stamping!

It is so easy to go crazy when starting out, you will want it all! If you start with these few basics, you can easily figure out what you like most and work from there.

1. Stamps - Start with the main themes you might need right away. Birthdays, thank you's, etc.

2. Paper & Envelopes - White card stock, you can buy it at any office supply store and it will be much cheaper than at a craft store. Same goes for the envelopes. Here is a tip, go to a card store once and awhile and ask if they have any extra envelopes. You could score big, and the price is right!

3. Ink - Get a few basics to start, black for sure, and a few of your favorite colors. I like the stamping markers, they are not to expensive and work well for adding more color to your stamping.

4. Paper Cutter - I cannot cut a straight line! These come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and are wonderful. You will not regret it.

5. Scissors - The decorative kind can add a flare to any card. They are pretty cheap, and lots of fun to use.

6. Glue sticks - Grab a bunch of them, they are cheap and you will use them a lot!

There are thousands of other things you can buy, but the list above will get you started, and give you a taste of card making.
